On Albums, scroll to the end and tap "New Album". Choose a type (Body, Selfie, Renovations, Plants, Pets, Food, Baby or Custom), give it a name, and tap "Create". Each type starts with its own measurements, which you can change.

Then & Now is made for iPhone, on iOS 17 or later, and it's in English. It can run on an iPad or an Apple silicon Mac as an iPhone app.

Turn on Ghost mode: in the camera, tap the overlay button next to the shutter until it says "Ghost". A faded copy of an earlier photo sits over the camera so you can match your position. Choose which photo it shows, or a body outline, under the album's pencil → "Ghost Overlay".

In the camera, tap the timer button until you see "Say "Now" to capture", then say "Now" from across the room. Say "Redo" to take it again. It understands English, and needs the microphone and Speech Recognition turned on.

Yes. Import up to 50 at a time from your photo library, then crop each one to match.

Tap Calendar, then the bell (or More → Settings → Reminders). Choose Daily, Weekly or Monthly and a time. There's one schedule for the whole app, and the calendar's streak counts how many check-ins in a row had a photo.

Four views: Video plays the album as a timelapse, Slider wipes between two photos, 2 x 1 puts two side by side with your measurements, and 1 x 1 shows one at a time.

Yes. Albums come in eight types: Body, Selfie, Renovations, Plants, Pets, Food, Baby and Custom, each with its own measurements. People use it for pets, gardens, home projects, hair, skin and even latte art.

Each album has its own list: numbers with units, 1–5 ratings, text, pick-lists, or values from Apple Health. Enter them after each photo, and see them on Trends and under 2 x 1. To change an old one, open the album in 1 x 1, touch and hold the photo, and tap "Edit Details".

Yes. Then & Now can fill in weight, body fat, lean body mass, BMI, waist, resting heart rate, active energy and steps from Health. It only reads, never writes, and Health values stay on your iPhone.

Every feature is free, with up to 99 new photos a week. Exports from the free version carry a small "Then & Now App" logo. Premium removes the weekly limit and the logo.

Monthly is $4.99 a month. Annual is $29.99 a year, with 7 days free if you haven't had a trial before. Lifetime is $99.99, paid once. Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows yours.

Tap "More", then "Go Premium", then "Redeem" at the bottom, and enter your code. You can also redeem it in the App Store app; Then & Now picks it up the next time you open it.

Tap "More", then "Go Premium", then "Restore" at the bottom of the Premium screen. Use the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Then & Now. Your photos stay either way.

Only you. There's no account, and Then & Now has no servers, analytics or ads. Your photos stay in the app on your iPhone and, with iCloud Sync on, in your own iCloud. Make any album private and it locks with Face ID.

Open the album, tap the pencil and turn on "Private Album". Its cover is blurred on the Albums screen, and opening it asks for Face ID (or your passcode). One unlock opens all your private albums until you leave the app. While locked, private photos stay out of Calendar and Trends.

iCloud Sync is on unless you turn it off (More → "Backup"). Your albums and measurements sync through your private iCloud, and photos go to your iCloud Drive, so a new iPhone picks up where the old one left off. Apple Health values don't sync; they stay on the phone. Mahalo Mochi never sees any of it.

Only if you ask it to. In More → "Backup", turn on "Auto-Save per Album" for the albums you want, or tap "Export Photos to Camera Roll". Otherwise your photos stay inside the app.

No. Photos are saved without their original location data.
